• Year Book - will be available to order at Book Fair beginning May 21.
• Open House - Wed., May 23rd, 6:30-7:30pm.
• Box Tops - Final collection for the school year will be due by June 1st. Please turn in ALL of your Box Tops to your room parent or teacher on or before this deadline. The class who has turned in the most accumulatively throughout the year will win the grand prize ice cream party! Good luck!
• 5th Grade Promotion - Ceremony will be on Tuesday, June 19, 10:30am. The 5th Grade Promotion committee is collecting donations for the 5th Grade Farewell to help cover costs of T-shirts, memory books, etc. We are asking for $5 from each family (more would be great!) It is tax deductible and checks should be made out to Village View PTA; there are envelopes in the classrooms for donations. • Lunch - The cost for lunch will increase to $2.50 next September. The increase will help supply our students with healthy food choices and the revenue will go directly back into the food program. If you have questions about the lunch program, please call the district office (714-847-2551) and ask for Food Service, ext. 1452.
• 50th Anniversary Celebration -  on June 9. Join us for a 50's Foodie Fest to celebrate Village View's 50th year! Food trucks, music, games, and 50's fun! This is not a fundraiser - it's a fun commnunity event. Bring friends, family, and neighbors to join the fun.
• Classic Cars - We are looking to display up to 5 cars at the 50th celebration. If you would be willing to attend this event and showcase your car, please contact Julie Rodriguez at julierodriguez828@gmail.com.
