We invite you to GET INVOLVED!  Please check back to this page to see current opportunites for specific needs.  Every chairperson of an event could use more help - so please ask any PTA director/chair what you can do to help throughout the year.

MOVIE NIGHTS:  Help with the snack bar during Movie Nights - Family Fun!  The next movie is Friday, January 8th.  Help is needed from approximately 6:00pm - 9:00pm.  Even if you can only help for part of the time - all help is appreciated.  (6-7pm is set up, beginning of food sales; 7-8:30 is food sales; 8:30 - 9pm is clean up!)  Please email Tawn O'Connell if you can help:  pamperedinhb@aol.com

AUTHORS DAY:    On Tuesday, January 26th, the PTA is hosting three authors to visit our school and make presentations.  This is in partnership with the Huntington Beach Friends of the Childrens Library Authors Festival.  Sue Welfringer is working with Ms. Bupp and Ms. Buccat to plan the day's schedule and luncheon for the teachers & authors.  Since Sue has a 5th grader this year, she is looking for "non-graduating" parents to help with the Authors Day so that next year this event can be repeated with great success and little mystery.  Email sue@welfringer.com if you are interested in helping.

AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES ASSISTANCE:  We need one parent every Wed to help supervise children having snack after school and to help account for any child absent from the class.  The time commitment is from 12:50 - for one hour or less.  Please email Diane Quintanar: dianequintanar@msn.com if you can help.

5TH GRADE FAREWELL - HELP WANTED!  Anyone interested in helping with memory books etc..for the 5th grade farewell—please email Michelle Elliott at shelliott3@hotmail.com.  Stay tuned for an upcoming 5th Grade Farewell meeting! 

WEBMASTER:  We need a parent volunteer to take on the website this year.  We would love to engage a parent who is passionate about making this resource a most useful and efficient source of information for our families.  Updating information probably takes less than 30 minutes a week.  We are considering re-vamping the format this year and would love a new parent to take on this important job!  The re-vamping part could require a bit more time investment in the beginning, but once a new site is created, the time commitment is mimimal.  Please email sue@welfringer.com if you can help!
