Welcome back Village View Families! I hope you all had a relaxing and fun summer and are ready to get back to work! The PTA realizes how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them. The PTA can help you achieve that! We all know that children learn more and have better lives when parents, teachers, staff, and the community work together. Village View PTA invites you to make a difference in the education and quality of life of your student here at school by becoming a member of the PTA. With your PTA dues, and your generous contributions through our fundraisers, the PTA is able to enrich our children’s educations with such programs as: Music and Movement, Reading at Home, Educational Assemblies, Field Trips, Drug Awareness, Book Fairs, Meet the Masters Art Program, Family Fun Nights, Literacy Picnic, technology, and so much more! I want to invite everyone to attend our next PTA meeting on Wed Sep 16th at 8:30am in the PTA room. I look forward to seeing many new faces at the meeting. Many volunteers who have daytime commitments tell me the evening PTA meetings work better for them and so I have also scheduled the first evening meeting right before back to school night on Wed Sep 30th at 6:30pm. Please make time for this meeting. It is your chance to check out what your PTA does and how you can help! Sincerely, Amy Brassard, PTA President.
It’s also important to know that with future budget concerns, the PTA will be needed more than ever! Don’t hesitate! Volunteer and ensure not only that our enhancement programs, assemblies and field trips continue, but that our students and teachers have what the need to be the best that they can be! Contact our PTA president, Amy Brassard, for volunteering opportunities. Open this document for specific vounteering opportunities. |
